telequte is Quokkabyte's cloud solution for remote maintenance of your customers. Simply register and get started immediately - without your own servers or complicated setup.

Manage all your customers centrally via our web portal and execute commands in the customer network. Start remote desktop connections without your customers having to provide network services.

Since no incoming TCP ports need to be opened, telequte works seamlessly through firewalls. Start remote desktop connections directly in the customer network and avoid external tools like TeamViewer.

Only a small Raspberry PI with pre-installed telequte client needs to be set up at the customer's premises. After that, you can perform all maintenance tasks conveniently from your office.

telequte Server Service

Quokkabyte operates the telequte server service in the cloud. You don't need to install or maintain your own server. Simply register as a customer and use the management frontend to administer all your telequte clients.

Via the customer portal you can manage connected telequte clients - e.g. activate remote desktop access to customer systems.

telequte Client

The telequte client runs on a Raspberry PI (>=3) computer. Quokkabyte provides a download of a customized Raspberry PI OS image on this website. After downloading this image, you can write it to an SD card and boot it directly in a Raspberry PI.

Client Installation

  1. Download the telequte Client Image
  2. Create a bootable SD card (e.g. following this tutorial)
  3. Boot the Raspberry PI

After successful installation, the telequte client can be set up at the customer's premises. The client needs all the permissions in the customer network that you need to support your customer. For this, it must be able to connect to the Internet on TCP port 443. If necessary, set the firewall rules accordingly.
